Forty years of it, and a licence held since 1998.
Mario Bevilacqua started the company in 1985 and still runs it. Around 350 people work here now. Four of them are licensed irrigators, and our vice president holds the longest-running licence on staff, number 6959 through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
We self-perform the hard work as well as the planting. Concrete flatwork, masonry, screenwalls, retaining walls and site drainage are ours, which keeps the sequencing and the accountability with one contractor.

Landscape Management placed us at number 96 on the 2024 LM150 and number 18 for growth, on a 39 percent revenue increase between 2022 and 2023. In 2012 the same list had us at 135.

Most of what a property needs over its life sits in one of these three. We run all three in house, which is why the irrigation gets designed around the planting rather than fitted around it afterwards.

And one thing that is not landscape at all
Playgrounds for schools, parks and communities.
Site preparation, equipment installation, safety surfacing in rubber mulch, poured-in-place rubber or synthetic turf, and the inspection and maintenance afterwards that keeps it in service. It sits with us because it is groundwork, drainage and surfacing before it is anything else.

Somebody answers at three in the morning.
A mainline break on a forty-acre property does not wait for office hours, so we publish a second number that does not either. Specified installs, central control across a whole portfolio, reclaimed water where a site has it, and repair when it goes wrong.

Our work is commercially geared. We build and maintain landscape and irrigation for land developers, municipalities, retail and hospital developers, school districts, multi-family housing and general contractors. That includes the common areas, entries, parks and streetscapes inside master-planned residential communities, which is residential land development rather than individual back gardens.
A separate, staffed number for irrigation failures that cannot wait until morning, which on a large property usually means a mainline break, a stuck valve flooding a walk or a controller that has stopped a whole zone. Yes. We have four licensed irrigators on staff. Our vice president, Joseph T. Angelone, holds the company's longest-held irrigation licence through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, licence number 6959, which he has held since 1998.
